I have the special edition, and LOVE it. However, on the bonus disc, there are only 4 songs. They could have easily put those 4 on the first disc and kept it at one disc, but they didn't. Because of this I thought that maybe there was some hidden stuff. Like maybe a studio , full band version of Charades. But alas, 4 songs is all that is on that disc. What does everyone make of this?

Yeah it is kinda pointless but to be fair I'd still go out and I can't really complain because I love the music (although I haven't heard the full versions of the songs and I'm utterly gutted I have to wait until the 29th Oct >=[  )

The reason there are only four songs are because they are songs they either dont really fit with the rest of the album , or unneccessary.. I believe that may have something to do that serj likes shorted albums.

The booklet is pretty cool it has some good poems and some really interesting art work.

I bought the regular version. The deluxe edition isn't available here yet. But I think I'll keep it to having one version. Having two Elect the Dead albums is a bit overkill.

The booklet is pretty much exactly like Cool Gardens. Same artist so the artwork is similar. It contains all the lyrics and a lot of never before published poems by Serj. Then there's the page where there's all the people he thanks. He thanks "the system guys" but he doesn't thank the fans which I thought was weird...

It's pretty cool to have a better quality version of "Blue."   It's interesting as an acoustic version with two Serj's lol.

im begining to think i got the wrong special edition. In line for the LA screening, i saw a guy with separate book of poetry. When i went inside and bought the album i got like a little book... its got the normal cd in the front sleeve and the special is in the back sleeve. a few poems are written but its mostly artwork. did i get something wierd??

this was so worth the extra money-- the extra tracks, the poems, the note from serj in the back, the little plastic card getting you access to the site...

and the site!! I'm hearing the Empty Walls remix now but I just listened to the Flea Interview which was incredible! Some great things were said there

and the videos are awesome! And more will come! Ah, this was the first CD I've actually paid money for in a really long time and I can honestly say it was worth every cent!

If u got the little red book with a little art and poetry than that is the ltd edition.  The guy in line was probably reading the cool gardens poetry book that serj wrote.

If u got the little red book with a little art and poetry than that is the ltd edition.  The guy in line was probably reading the cool gardens poetry book that serj wrote.

I bought the normal edition. It felt like I would be over paying. I'm paying $10 for 12 songs, and then $15 extra for 4 more songs and a booklet? It just doesn't click as a fair trade.

The funny part is I read after I bought the cd that the regular edition was supposed to be $10 this week.  The best buy I went to was charging $13.99.

Yes, I see the normal edition for 9.99 and the limited edition for 25 on ebay! I buy one copy of the limited edition!

When I saw "booklet" in the promos, I thought it was going to be a softcover. Upon buying it, I realized it is a hardcover book. It is well worth the extra few bucks for the book alone.
